Montessori Room

Children in our Montessori Room are introduced to a slightly more structured environment in preparation for school.

We endeavour to teach the children to become used to sitting on a chair at a table and to concentrate for longer periods of time. Through the use of Montessori Equipment we introduce letters, numbers, days of the week, months of the year, continents, countries and so much more!

The Montessori systems encourages children to progress at their own pace and to enjoy learning.

It also encourages much loved independence using dressing frames to teach basics such as tying laces, closing buckles, buttons and zips. As with all rooms in Kilnamanagh Kids there is also plenty of time for arts and crafts, songs, rhymes, messy play etc.
